With trails between Athy and St Mullins it is possible to paddle for up to 5 days passing through beautiful countryside, villages, towns and historical sites.

About Us
We aim to make the hidden gem that is the Barrow more accessible to the adventurous, families, friends, workmates, frequent canoeists or complete beginners. I Nathan, the business owner, have been canoeing on the Barrow River for the past 12 years and helping out with my father’s canoe business, so I decided to start out by myself.
What to Look For?
As you paddle and drift down river, you can expect to see kingfishers, ducks, egrets, dippers, otters, herons and all their young. You can also expect to see ancient churches, castles beautiful old estate houses and magnificent hand built weirs.

Canoe Hire
Hire a canoe for one day, two days or multiple days and paddle down the barrow river through some of Ireland’s most scenic and beautiful landscapes and locations. We also provide tents so you can camp at night to add to the experience and adventure.

I wanted to sincerely thank you for the fantastic 3 day adventure that you gave my whole family when we went down the river recently. Everybody fully enjoyed it, both children and adults.
