We have multiple groups of up to 50 people that come back year after for their annual trip.

Go at your own pace, suitable for complete beginners, an average level of mobility is required.

What do I need to bring?

If on a one day trip you should bring, a change of clothes (just in case)
water, snacks, waterproof phone case, a packed lunch.. you can also buy some things at the filling
station shop at the start point in Goresbridge, or at the ‘Goodly Barrow’ restaurant, for a high quality
take away lunch.

A sample multiday camping trip packing list: first aid kit, tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, hammock,
torch, knife, axe, tarp, rope, waterproof phone case, head torches, power bank, warm clothes for
the evening. A small portable gas camping cooker, pot, frying pan, utensils, canned or dehydrated
food, fishing equipment (all fishing is catch and release) toilet paper, soap/wash cloth, toothbrush,
toothpaste, electrolytes, hand sanitiser, sun hat, sun cream, fire lighters, lunch box, food containers,
large water containers.
You will pass through towns or villages each day to stock up on supplies.

What should I pack if I’m camping?

You’ll need sleeping bags, toiletries, a change of clothes, a towel, cooking supplies, food, and a light rain jacket. We supply tents if needed.

How long will I be paddling each day?

On average, you’ll be paddling between 4–5 hours per day. This varies depending on your chosen route and pace.

Do I need to be very fit to do this?

No high level of fitness is required, but a reasonable level of physical activity helps. Most of our trips are suitable for beginners with basic stamina.

Is it suitable for kids?

We would recommend kids be 7 yrs +, able to swim, water confident, it is really at the discretion of the parents.
